Learning Archery

If you are just a "regular" adult who would like to come out and learn more, we have both outdoor sessions through the spring and summer and indoor sessions in the winter. It is always best to contact the club prior to coming out to ensure that there is someone there to meet you and arrange your entry onto the grounds. We have instructors and all the necessary equipment to start learning archery.  To see our shooting schedule please click here

Archery can be learned and practiced by anyone from 4 years old (8-10 is an ideal age) to as old as you like. Disciplines range from Target archery, to Field archery, to 3D Archery to other forms and practices. For the kids, we have an established J.O.P (Junior Olympic Program), that is designed to develop archer skills to a level that they can compete with.

Please follow this link (click here) to a very complete archery guide, it will lead you from learning the basics to world class competition, written in Finland, it is an excellent guide to our sport!
