Bob Ragsdale clinic

The club is considering bringing Bob Ragsdale out to Victoria for a weekend seminar. This would happen sometime in late February.

Bob is almost a legend in archery. He is very knowledgeable with all bows, especially compounds.

Bob will discuss bow setup, equipment, simple shooting techniques and much more.

The weekend would likely consist of a full seminar with Bob, followed by a full dinner.

We need at least 50 people to make this financially feasible. Cost per person would be about $75.

Please let Al know if you are interested in attending. This will be open to all clubs in BC, so register early!

Victoria Bowmen Christmas party

Bruce & Beverly Somers have graciously offered to host this year's Christmas party. It will be at their house starting at 7:00pm on Saturday, December 11. They live at 519 Whitty Beach Road. The phone number is 478-9951.

Please bring a wrapped gift to put under the tree for a gift exchange. A great opportunity to give away those new items you never wanted!

Bruce asks that you please bring either a dessert or some hors d'ourves. Bruce said to tell you that it's BYOB, but I'm not sure why anyone would want to bring their bow to the party. (I think I'll bring something to drink instead!)

Membership renewals!

It's that time of year again! Hey, why give your special person a bow for Christmas if they don't have anywhere to shoot it?! Give them a VicBow membership instead! Heck, buy one for yourself, too!

If you haven't already renewed, please do so soon. Remember to check off the box for your shooting class (Bowhunter, JOP, etc.). This ensures you get the correct mailouts and saves us a lot of time and money for mailings!

2000 Summer Games July 27 - 30 2000

Summer Games 2000 will be held here in Victoria! The Archery venue will be at Colquitz school.

Volunteers are needed to assist with the Games. If you are interested, please contact Bruce or Vesa.
