Here is some news as of our latest Board Meeting
May 11.
Our Annual Queen Victoria Shoot.
A fun annual event
of the club for more than 50 years is the annual Queen Victoria Shoot
this Sunday at 10AM (practice will be from around 9), The round is the
Canadian 900 Round - 55/45/35M for Adults, Juniors (18 & younger), and
Cadets (16 & younger), 45/35/25M for Cubs (14 & younger), and 30/2/20
For Pre-Cubs (12 & younger).
The Canadian 900 is a round enjoyed by
all levels of archers from the novice to the seasoned tournament
shooter. It is shot at a very relaxed pace on the large target face.
This is an excellent opportunity for our new members to shoot a fun
target tournament, come out and see what it's all about!

Spring has
Sprung
Yes, spring is here, the range is in exellent condition most
of the parking areas are now open, please only drive and park in
designated areas. There is still lots of work to do, please pick up any
debris you may see and straighten up the club house when you're there.
Our 'Forrest Gumps' can always use some help cutting grass and weed
whacking (especially this time of year!) ~ the club has all the gear,
you just need to get out there and help. Give Greg or Al a call for
access.
Wear Your Membership Card
Don't forget to show your
membership card to the commissionaires when entering the property and
wear it prominently on your person while shooting. It shows your insured
and allowed on the property.
Junior Olympic Program
Our
Junior Program is going well outdoors (Saturdays at 10) ~ come out and
support the group!
Should you have any questions concerning the
club, check out our website: http://victoriabowmen.com
